Sessions

Nursery Class

Morning session: 9.15 a.m. - 12 noon for children 2 to 3 1/2 years.

Morning session and lunch: 9.15 a.m. - 1.30 p.m. for children 3 to 5 1/2 years.

Afternoon session: 12.30 p.m. - 3.15p.m. for children 2 to 3 1/2 years.

Afternoon session and lunch 11.45 p.m. - 3.15p.m. for children 3 to 5 1/2 years.

Full day session: 9.15a.m. - 3.15 p.m. for children 3 to 5 1/2 years.

Primary Class Full day session: 9.15 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.

Please note that children who stay for lunch must bring a nutritious packed lunch with them to school each day.

Morning Club: 8.15a.m. - 9.15a.m.

General Information

• The school year is divided into three terms - the dates of the terms for each year will be given to The parents towards The end of the Summer Term.
• Each term lasts approximately 12 weeks.
• Please make sure your child is wearing clothes they can manage easily, especially when they first come to school.
• If your child is absent for any reason please inform the school as soon as possible.
• Please make sure your child's arrival has been noted by a member of staff.
• Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day. If your child attends the full day session they should bring a packed lunch to school with them.
• French is offered to the children. (This is an optional extra in The Nursery Class).
• The older children will use local facilities for sports such as swimming or games.
• A separate charge may be made for outings.
• The Holly Park Montessori School is registered with the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).
• Children can be prepared for entrance exams into other schools.
• Parents are encouraged to become involved in organising social and fundraising events during the school year and attending meetings.
• Fees are inclusive of music and movement stationery and books. In The Primary Classes fees also include French, Music and Drama.
• Each class has it's own computer for the children to use. In The Primary classes the children have access to the internet and The World Wide Web.

Conditions of Entry

1. An enrolment fee of ?15 is required if a child's name is to be entered on the waiting list this is neither deductible or refundable.

Entry on the waiting list does not guarantee a place.

2. A deposit of ? is required once a place at the Holly Park Montessori School is accepted. This is refunded in full provided one term's written notice of the child leaving is given.

3. One term's written notice is required when Withdrawing a child from school OR one term's fees in lieu.

4. Fees must be paid in full two weeks before the beginning of each term.
